Whitney Pogorek was employed in a family business for 20 years, 7 of which she operated as CEO, servicing the customer service departments of communication companies. Nothing inspires the desire to strive for professionalism than family business dynamics. After her employment with our nationwide recovery agency, Whitney spent ten years in positions involving assisting the management of patient privacy and care for medical companies. Working with patients inspires the desire to strive for empathy and advocacy.

Whitney has a sincere passion for the encompassing world of service work. In her personal life, volunteerism began young, assisting her parents with both Lions Club and Friends of the Library programs. Both organizations of which she serves as a member to this day. She has volunteered independently for many other organizations since she was 18 years old.

Whitney’s late husband, a veteran of the Air Force and NHANG, and she owned and independently operated a livestock farm in Strafford, NH. They were vendors at many of the area farmers’ markets, some for which she also served as a board member. Whitney brings firsthand experience of both the farming and veteran communities to which she has a steadfast commitment and the utmost respect. Farming and being a military wife inspired her to strive for patience and resourcefulness. She is grateful to be a serving board member for Vouchers for Veterans.
