Bret Carmichael

Bret Carmichael is the Board Secretary at Vouchers for Veterans. He joined the organization in 2020. In addition to his duties as Secretary, Bret oversees the organization’s information technology assets.

As a tech industry veteran, Bret has over 20 years of experience in systems analysis, lean management, and technology leadership. His responsibilities have included managing enterprise teams responsible for revenue-generating applications and driving transformational leadership through lean, agile software development, and DevOps.

Bret currently owns a branding and web development agency where he consults with mid-sized businesses to develop their brand positions and identify systems to attract new customers, driving increased revenue growth and customer retention.

While serving with Vouchers for Veterans, Bret chairs the Dover, New Hampshire Utilities Commission and is a Member of the city’s Energy Commission. He is also the Ambassador Chair for the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
